Kasey Kahne is happy Friday I'm Lola Reagan and I'll talk to him. The first three we have is about our school play The Lion King I think I'm going to go to the play it looks pretty fun it is really fun and Grant have a story about the major changes coming in the cafe the vegan one I'm getting Perseus Billy Miche the tags are just so bad for us so full of saturated fat and cholesterol hormone and it really does nothing for us to focus in class all the time it's just not the healthiest way we should be seeing you guys and so I believe eating more friends science shows that eating more plan that students actually do better in school just have this feeling I haven't tried it but it's offering here for the vegan or vegetarian before they option to purchase that that would be great thanks for watching see fleas I hope you try some of the new vegan dishes see you next time I think the vegan lunch is cool but I wouldn't try it I think it seems pretty interesting to what else homemade lunches by Daisy and I spent the morning getting to know him and finding out how he's going to make an impact to all campus hey I'm off to build I've been with the police department for 13 years and in that time I've been fortunate enough to work variety of assignments right now I'm assigned to patrol as a field training officer and that I train new police officers I've also worked as a motorcycle officer doing traffic enforcement investigations and as a detective working a variety of different types of Investigation I'm also now sinus renew School liaison officer so I grew up in the city of Santa Clarita which is in Northern LA county and when I was in Middle School and call it Intermediate School junior high I went to the Mesa Junior High School we didn't have school liaison officers I even when the police did the school has a little scary even sometimes little intimidating they weren't really approachable so I'm really excited at the opportunity to change that and to try to foster a more friendly relationship the humanize the badge so to speak so students and faculty feel comfortable approaching and interacting with us totally that's our job we work for you and we want you to feel comfortable communicating with us so School liaison officers are police officers that are full-time uniformed officers in the city are assigned to each School in the city high school has a designated officer that stops in periodically to check on the students and the faculty and make sure that schools remain a safe-deposit a place to learn our jobs also I maintain a positive working relationship between students and faculty and the police department if I were to leave the students of PBIS with a message it would be to come and introduce yourself when you see us we're here to answer your question about law enforcement the community or talk to you about school issues look forward to getting to know you guys a really nice guy and I can't wait to meet him I agree my 8th graders have to look forward to in high school for the incoming freshman to look forward to at 10 I think there are many great opportunities at freshman can have here for example we have a lot of clubs so there's so many clothes I think there's around like a hundred and twenty even 150 clubs at freshman can join your so like if you think that maybe you don't have friends or if you feel lonely don't even feel like that because we have so many clubs to offer and then we also have a lot of electives to offer we have like robotics we have things like wire photography anything you're really like sickly electives games anything you can think of you basically have to look forward to and yeah I mean this was really welcoming people are not really judgmental everyone that has High Spirits welcome to all the freshmen hi has so many opportunities in being a Freshman I can promote private school so I was kind of nervous like going into like such a big pool and slide along where people were at the school I was like what's going to happen is going to people for PV was one of the most welcoming environment I could ever ask for so I was part of girls soccer so just tell me Club so many programs NY sports that we're just so strong and have some directions when it's like the second you become a part of a program where you become a part of a club or sport you automatically have so many friends and yes Owensville supporting her back and the faculty at PBI I cannot emphasize enough are the most supportive dr. Sandoval she'll be sure to stay tuned for the announcements before the credits
