The National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1929.
To be eligible, students need to have a 3.65 academic GPA, have held leadership positions (ASB or other elected positions), and have a minimum of 20 hours of community service in a variety of activities.
Interested students can visit Club Rush at lunch on 9/5 to speak with Mrs. Kier and current members to get more information.
Candidate information packets will be available starting 9/18/19. Please see Mrs. Kier in room 905 for a packet
Packets are due on October 2nd by 3:10pm.
