Print up the Ch. 13-3 work-sheet posted on my Edlio page. Read and highlight the work-sheet. Answer the questions on the side margins. You do not have to complete the "Challenge Activity."
Activity for Thursday 5/21
Read Ch. 13-3 in the textbook "Science and Society" (p.364-369).
Activity for Wednesday 5/20
Read Ch. 13-2 in the textbook "Discoveries and Inventions" (p. 358-363). Get out a sheet of paper and title in Ch. 13-2 Questions. Complete the questions on p.363 #1-5 all. You must restate the question in each response.
Activity for Tuesday 5/19
Watch the "Scientific Revolution Crash Course" video that I posted on my Edlio page. Number to twenty under the vocabulary terms that you did on Monday. take down 20 facts on the video. Do this on the same sheet of paper as you did the 13-1 vocabulary from Monday.
Activity for Monday 5/18
Read Ch. 13-1 in the textbook "A New View of the World" (p. 354-357). Take out a sheet of paper and title it "Scientific Revolution." Complete 5 of the 6 vocabulary terms from Ch. 13-1. Use the "T-Chart" format. You will be doing Tuesday's activity on the same sheet of paper.
Assignments for the week of 5/11 - 5/15
All work for each week will be due on the Friday of that week. Submit work via Microsoft Teams (attach using paperclip icon). If that does not work, send assignments to my email [email protected] . Please try to send your assignments to me on Friday in one attachment/direct message/email if possible, not each seperately. I recommend downloading Adobe Scan (free App) or a similar scanning app if you have a smartphone to send the week's work in one attachment. Feel free to email or contact me through Microsoft teams if you have questions or concerns.
Monday 5/11: Read the "Church Reformer" power-point and take a half a page of notes. Watch "Henry VIII Parody Video" and list 10 facts from the video (see Edlio page for detailed instructions).
Tuesday 5/12: Read Ch. 12-2 in the textbook. Complete the Ch.12-2 work-sheet (see Edlio page for detailed instructions).
Wednesday 5/13: Read Ch. 12-3 in the textbook
Thursday 5/14, Friday 5/15: Take a page and a half (1.5 pages) of notes on the "Effects of the Reformation" power-point (see Edlio for detailed instructions).
Activity for Thursday 5/14, Friday 5/15
Read the power-point "Effects of the Reformation" that I posted on my Edlio page. Take out a sheet of paper and title the assignment "Effects of the Reformation." Take a page and a half of notes on the power-point. So fill up the front page and half of the back with notes from the power-point.
Extra Credit opportunity: Write a half a page response to the "If YOU were there... prompt on p. 340 and turn in on a separate sheet of paper titled "If YOU were there p. 340."

Read Ch. 12-3 in the textbook "Effects of the Reformation' (p. 340-345).
Activity for Tuesday 5/12
Read Ch. 12-2 in the textbook "The Catholic Reformation" (p.334-339). Next print out, read and complete the Ch. 12-2 Work-sheet I posted on my Edlio page. Underline or highlight important facts on the work-sheet. Answer the questions briefly on the sides of the work-sheet. You do not have to complete the "Challenge Activity" on the back.
Activity for Monday 5/11
Get out a sheet of paper and title it "Church Reformers." Read the "Church Reformers" power-point that I put on my Edlio page. Take a half a page of notes on the power-point.
Next watch the Henry VIII Parody Video posted on my Edlio page. This is a comedic take on one of the most infamous church reformers. Below the power-point notes, number #1-10. Take down ten facts about Henry VIII from the parody video. This is all to be done as the same sheet of paper.
