Important Glowforge Policies
  • PUSH THE WHITE BUTTON to pause a print if anything is going wrong with a print.
  • Laser cutters should not be left unattended when the laser is cutting. 
  • Wait for the button to go off before opening the Glowforge door.
  • If anything is going wrong with a print, pause the print and tell Mr. Garman
  • Do not try to fix the Glowforge or put out a fire, pause the print and tell Mr. Garman
 
Glowforge Procedures
  • When your design is ready to cut, place your materials in the center of the Glowforge tray. Ask before using or removing someone else's material.
  • Position your design and confirm your print settings before pressing print.
  • In the fabrication lab, make sure the vent is open and the fan is on before pressing the pulsing white button.
  • When your print is done, the light is off, remove all your material and recycle the unused material.
