Week of 5/25

Hi Sea Kings!  We have one last fitness log due in 2 weeks on June 5.  Please make sure you complete your 3 sets of curl-ups and push-ups 3x a week and that you fill out the SOF, strands of fitness, correctly to receive full credit.  If you have any questions please email me or message me through Teams.  Take care and have a great week(:

Week of 5/18

Happy Monday!  PE & Dance both have their 2nd to last Fitness log due this Friday, May 22.  Dance you also have your 4th Flipgrid due this Friday titled "Dance Party" show me your favorite dance that you would have performed at our show this week.  It can be something from your original choreography or from one of the dances I choreographed.  Your dance should be a minimum of 20 seconds for full credit.  I included music from your class dances on the previous posts in case you needed easy access.  I miss all of my classes and hope everyone is well.  Take care (:

Week of 5/11

Hi Sea Kings!
Dance and PE your next 2 week fitness log is due 5/22.  Please fill it out completely and correctly with dates, total time, and stands of fitness for full credit.
Dancers need to wrap up their final dance for your best performance video which is due on 5/15.  
I will be posting an extra credit assignment for everyone this week too(:

Week of May 4-8

Happy May the 4th Be With You!
 
Important due dates this week.  Both Dance and PE has Fitness logs from 4/27-5/8 due on Friday, May 8.  Please be sure to fill out the logs correctly with you SOF, strands of fitness, and your 3 sets of curl-ups and push-ups 3x a week for full credit.  Dancers should be working on finishing their choreography that is due next week as part of their overall 45 min. of workout time.  Dance also has Flipgrid #3 titled Beginning, middle, and end due on 5/8 asking about planning the end of your dance.  Please feel free to email me at [email protected]  if you have any questions.  I am also available to chat through Teams during the day if you find that is easier.  I will be sending out progress reports this week, so if you are missing assignments on Aeries please send them to me ASAP.

Dance Flipgrid # 3 Due Friday, May 8

Go to the Flipgrid App or website.  After logging in with your school email address answer the following question.  
All dances have a beginning, middle, and end as part of their structure.  Please let me know if you have been planning the end of your dance choreography from the start.  If by chance you are not choreographing a dance, please let me know why you think planning the end is important.

After viewing Ms. Mojo's example of top 10 choreographed music videos which is listed below this post let me know what your favorite choreographed video is...it does not have to be a part of the video list but you must include "WHY" it is your favorite in order to receive full credit.  This is due Friday, May 1

What do you miss most from doing actual PE at school?  For full credit make sure you tell me "WHY" you chose your answer.

Last Friday, April 24 was another fitness log turn in day.  If you have not already sent it in to my email or Teams, please do so ASAP as I will be updating Aeries.  Keep up the good work (:
I posted some more work out videos below to give you some more ideas for activities at home.  
Flip grid #2 has been added for both dance and PE with different questions, so be sure to answer on the correct grid.  Also, for full credit make sure to answer the full question including "WHY" you made that choice for your answer.
