For 40 years we have worked together to create bright futures for all students in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. We are so fortunate to live in a community that values excellent education. A high-quality education requires more than what the state can provide, but because of our generous parents, community supporters and local businesses, our students receive the best!

Approximately 150 students have not completed their PVIS registration.

On the first day of school students were supposed to turn in their (yellow) emergency card and confirmation print out of completed registration to their third period class.
Registration is completed when you have filled out all 10 pages and have submitted. See below for assistance: 

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE COMPLETED THE ONLINE PACKET?
Once completed, you will receive 

(1) an email receipt for any items purchased, as well as

 (2) a thank you confirmation email that states you have completed the registration.  If you do not receive an email, please check your junk mail folder.

I would like to update you about work the District is doing regarding our facilities.  Almost all of our buildings are at least 50 years old.  While our Maintenance and Operations team does a great job keeping them looking good, significant infrastructure work needs to be done at almost every site including electrical capacity and wiring, updated plumbing and bathrooms, roofing, data communication wiring, etc.

The Committee seeks representation of all stakeholder groups with an interest in providing critical feedback that will assist in guiding the direction of our School District.

Look out for Friday, September 6th as we celebrate our first FriYAY! The first Friday of each month is a day we dedicate to celebrate being part of the PVIS school community. At drop off, you'll notice our Leadership and ASB students and PVIS staff in the front of the school welcoming students to school. At lunch, there are a variety of activities that take place for students to have fun and celebrate PVIS as a safe and positive place to be. Great things are happening here at PVIS, and we're looking forward to sharing them with you.

Students will turn in SIGNED AND DATED Aeries emergency card to 3rd period teachers. Minimum day dismissal 12:15pm.

Unique in our mission and connections, we have served the South Bay
community and Downtown L.A.’s Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC)
for over 60 years.

We volunteer at children’s camps, schools, OIC, its clinic in
Calexico and much more. We produce the Evergreen Ball and Fashion Show
to celebrate our Senior families and fundraise for OIC.
