Root Word Quiz 6 (25 points) will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

Read pgs. 93-94 "Don't ban peanuts at school, but teach about the dangers" and circle all words that are either unfamiliar, or that you do not understand for tomorrow's discussion. 

The next Root Word Quiz will be given Thursday January 5, 2017.

The Monthly Reading Log will be replaced by assigned articles off of the SpringBoard Zinc platform.  A article will be assigned weekly.  

 

Though the technology is not perfect, I do expect students to report any technical issues prior to Friday of every week to provide the time needed to perhaps troubleshoot the issue. 

 

Please be advised that the SpringBoard platform works best using the Google Chrome browser and many technical issues may be resolved by using this particular browser. 

 

 

The Book Fair will start next week in the library at PVIS, if students would like to purchase books. 

If Homework is taking your students over an hour to complete, please sign your students assignment and their work will be considered complete.  

 

PVIS is currently piloting new textbooks and your student should not be studying beyond an hour Monday through Thursday. 

1) Write the definition of each vocabulary word. Then use each vocabulary word in your own sentence.

2) Find a synonym for each vocabulary word. Write each synonym down in your own sentence. 

 

If Classwork is not finished in class, then your classwork becomes homework due the following day.
