PVIS Families,

I hope everyone had a restful, relaxing, and recharging summer! We are excited to welcome our returning Sea Kings back to campus and meet our newest members of the PVIS family.

Our Principal's Updates are sent every other week and are filled with important information, upcoming events, and highlights celebrating the incredible accomplishments of our students. There's a lot of great information in this edition, so please take a few moments to review it.

The first day of school is important for so many reasons beyond academics. We intentionally begin each year by building meaningful relationships, establishing trust, and getting to know our students. We believe these connections create the foundation for success academically, socially, and personally. Together, they help foster a school where students feel connected, supported, and safe, and where both students and staff love to learn and work.

As we begin this school year, please know that my door is always open and that my priority is your child. There will undoubtedly be moments when challenges arise, but almost everything is figureoutable when we work together. I encourage all of us to remember that we are on the same team, united by a common goal: helping every student succeed. Open communication is essential, even when conversations are difficult.

Let's commit to approaching one another with kindness, compassion, and grace. When we assume positive intent and work together, there is very little we can't accomplish for our students.

We're looking forward to an incredible year together.

🔒 Locker Selection Is Almost Here!

Every PVIS student is assigned a locker for the school year. Locker selection allows students to choose the location of their locker based on availability.

As we prepare for the new school year, we'd like to share a few reminders about textbooks and classroom supplies. Textbooks will be checked out to students during class throughout the first week of school, so there is no need to pick them up before school begins.
