PVIS Families,
As we welcome November, it’s hard to believe the first trimester wraps up next week on November 14. This weekend is the perfect time for students to take a moment, check in on their grades, and catch up on any missing assignments so they can finish strong.
Parents and guardians can visit the Aeries Parent Portal to see your student’s current progress. Our amazing School Counselors are also here to help students stay organized, manage their time, and build great study habits.
Don’t forget, the library is open every day at lunch for students who want a quiet place to work, study, or just enjoy a good book. Many of our students have found that messaging teachers through Teams is an easy, comfortable way to ask questions or get help. Our teachers are always happy to support students this way!
Let’s finish the trimester strong, Sea Kings we are proud of all the hard work our students are putting in!
Be Legendary,
Micah J. Farrell, Principal

The Palos Verdes Intermediate PTSA knows that a strong partnership among our families, school leaders, and community members is important to the success of our students and school. That’s why we are participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which grows partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students.
We need your help! As part of the process outlined by National PTA, we are requesting your voluntary feedback from families, administrators and teachers at two points in the school year—the beginning and the end. Using the community feedback, we will build an Excellence Action Plan to strengthen family-school partnerships.
Please take 5-10 minutes to reflect on your experience at this school and complete this survey. Please complete this survey by November 21, 2025.

It’s More Than Free Meals! All PVPUSD students can enjoy free breakfast and lunch daily through California’s Universal Meals Program—but completing a Free and Reduced Meal Application still matters! Submitting the form may help families qualify for additional benefits such as reduced exam fees, discounted internet services, and college application savings—while also providing essential funding that supports our schools.
