PVIS Families,
The school year is flying by and the end of trimester two is only two weeks away (3/7). As we enter the third and final trimester (3/10) I hope that students have met some of their individual goals and are geared up to finish strong. Friendly reminders that if students need additional support academically, personally, or socially we are here. Our teachers, staff, and School Counselors are available, please reach out.
On Thursday (2/20), our PVIS Spelling Bee Champ, Audrey Smit participated in the District Spelling Bee competition at Silver Spur Elementary. Congrats to Audrey and her fourth-place finish District-wide!
Today, a few Leadership students and administrators had the wonderful opportunity to deliver the gift cards we collected to benefit the families of Pasadena Unified. Thank you to our PVIS families for generous donations to our fellow Angelenos. I am always humbled by our community's support when called upon to help others.
Be Well,
Micah J. Farrell, Principal

LCAP Survey
Join the Conversation – Survey Input Needed
At PVPUSD, our top priority is fostering student success through strategic resource allocation and thoughtful planning. PVPUSD Board of Education and District leadership are committed to ensuring our resources are used to meet the needs of all students. Our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) addresses the District’s vision for student learning, outlines actions and annual goals, and demonstrates how the District’s budget supports those goals.
As an involved District partner, you are invited to share your input and suggestions to help us evaluate our offerings and inform decision-making for the annual update to our 2025-26 LCAP. Please click on the applicable link to complete the survey(s) and assist your student in completing the survey, if you choose. If you have more than one child who attends PV schools, please answer with only one of your children in mind. You may complete this survey more than once if you have multiple children.
