PVIS Families,
I hope this message finds you well. This year each of our departments will plan a "showcase" to highlight the wonderful things they are doing in their classrooms. So far, our social studies department created a "mock election" for our students, which was accompanied by a lesson about voting, propositions, elected positions, and civic responsibility. Our PE department will hold a series of "all-star" games after each unit during lunch with the two top teams competing for the championship. You can see a few pics from PE's all-star flag football game last week.
More department events will be coming.
Have a great weekend!
Micah J. Farrell, Principal

November is Gratitude Month

“Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.” – Oprah Winfrey.
November is a month of gratitude, and here at PVIS, we're embracing the spirit of thankfulness! Throughout this month, we invite all students, teachers, and staff to join us in a collective effort to express gratitude for the things that brighten our lives.
Let's make this month a celebration of appreciation! We encourage you to share what you're grateful for below. Whether it's the guidance and support from our wonderful teachers, the endless encouragement and care from our parents, or the camaraderie and companionship of our friends, every expression of gratitude matters.
Take a moment each day to reflect and post what you're grateful for here in this Form (below) or on social media platforms using #PVISAttitudeofGratitude. Let's fill our school with the warmth of appreciation and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our educators, leaders, parents, and friends. Your expressions of gratitude will not only spread positivity but also inspire others to focus on all that is going right in our lives.
Together, let's create an atmosphere of thankfulness and acknowledgment throughout November, celebrating everything that makes our Sea King community a special and supportive place to learn and grow. Join us in this month-long journey of gratitude! (we will post your messages on our social media platforms).

On Saturday, 11/2, our community celebrated Diwali at a wonderful event. Shikha Videaradji organized the celebration, which was full of delicious food, music, and culture. I had a great time. Thank you for the experience and for sharing your culture!
