PVIS Families,
We are almost halfway to our goal with only one week left- Skechers Pier to Pier Walk is October 20. In case you missed it we have some great incentives like the "Good Bye Mile" pass for PE classes/students and "Show the Love" sponsoring a teacher for the fundraiser. Please donate today and help us reach our goal!
Have a great weekend! Hope to see you next weekend at the walk.

PVIS CARES ABOUT CITIZENSHIP
At PVIS we believe that being a "good student" is not just about academic success but equally about being a good human. As part of that belief, we must begin to prepare our students for high school and beyond with interpersonal skills, management, organization, and responsibility.
Our staff has invested time to calibrate and create a Citizenship Rubric that guides the teacher's assessment of a student's citizenship grade. Social studies teachers review citizenship expectations with all students; you can review that presentation here.
Thank you for your support.

Aeries Communications & ParentSquare for Parents
Aeries Communications (ParentSquare) is a platform where staff can communicate and interact with parents. In ParentSquare parents can access forms/surveys, adjust personal notification preferences, and receive your student's reports electronically.
For more information on how to access and navigate your ParentSquare account, view our support article: ParentSquare features for Parents

Progress Reports & Report Cards
1st-trimester progress reports were made available to parents via the Aeries Parent Portal on October 10, 2024. For our new families, progress reports at the secondary level are only given if the student is earning a "D", "F", or "U". Students in accelerated or honors courses may also receive a progress report for a grade of "C" or lower. There are four total Progress Reporting periods (quarterly) and three (trimester) final grade reporting periods.
