Principal's Update 8-30-24

s

PVIS Families,

I hope everyone had a fantastic first full week back at school. Over the past week and a half, I've had the pleasure of visiting every class, and the energy has been incredible. Our teachers were thoughtful and engaging, and the students were eager and enthusiastic. Let's keep this positive momentum going!

This week Ms. Egan and I visited and presented to every student through their science classes about their PVIS Student Expectations.

We covered the following topics:

-Reviewed the Citizenship Rubric

-Zero Tolerance for bullying, discrimination, and harassment

-School Safety

-Cell Phone Policy

-Lunchtime

-Lockers

-Conflict Management, resources on campus, coping skills, and resiliency

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know. We will follow up with all students again after winter recess covering the same topics as well as 8th grade graduation activities and 7th grade Camp Pali.

Have a great weekend!

Micah J. Farrell, Principal
