Sea Kings Families,
Two weeks down of CAASPP testing and one more to go. Thank you, parents, students, and staff for your time and effort in the state-wide assessments. The CAASPP assessment is important to our school, students, and families. The assessments provide comprehensive data for student progress that drives instruction and identifies areas for improvement. This data is another indicator for families to review and identify where their child stands academically compared to peers and state-wide. For our school, it is a marker of instructional rigor and student success; this directly impacts our overall state standing and influences enrollment; which impacts student programs and funding. Thank you again for your support of our school and the future of PVIS!
Have a wonderful week! Summer is almost here:)

Congratulations to our PVIS Math Club students for a successful year and tremendous accomplishments! Keep an eye on these Sea Kings they are going to accomplish BIG things!
Thank you to our PTSA, parent volunteers, and Mrs. Starodub for supporting our Math Club. Thank you as well to our Math Club advisors Mrs. Thom and Mairs. These two educators have long since retired from teaching in our District but continue to volunteer their time with Math Club, inspiring and educating thousands of PVPUSD students along their journey. No doubt the students that have gone through our PVIS Math Club have achieved incredible feats.
Mrs. Mairs announced at the awards night that she will be taking a step back from her advisor role in the club and we would like to acknowledge her and express our sincerest gratitude for a lifetime of dedication to PVPUSD students!
