Sea Kings Families,
On Thursday, April 25, we held our first annual Cultural Fair in the MPR. Parents from our PVIS community were invited to participate in the fair and share their culture through music, art, food, and more. During social studies class, all students toured over 40 "countries" taking notes in the "passports" we provided. Finally, all of our Sea Kings will take time to review reflective questions we developed that align with the curriculum next week. Be sure to talk with your students about their experience!
I was once again amazed at what we as a community can accomplish when we come together toward a common goal. A special thank you to all parent volunteers, PTSA, Catherine Xiao-Nelson, and Nia Kontes.
Proud to be a PVIS Sea King!

CAASPP Testing Schedule
CAASPP Testing begins this week. Please help our school by talking with your students about the importance of the test. Student performance is often reviewed by staff at the secondary levels as part of their overall progress. Beyond that, it is one indicator of the overall achievement of our students and school. Our CAASPP scores are often considered by prospective students/families, and enrollment is funding.
Thank you for your support!
All Pro Dads Breakfast
On Wednesday we hosted our last All Pro Dads Breakfast of the year! Thank you to Matt Reis and Tom Schloemer for hosting. Thank you to Jenny Handjian for organizing and of course Thank you Taylor Chen for the breakfast goodies!
We had a very successful year and the events were well attended. No one has ever regretted spending more time with their kids! Hope to see you next year.
