PVIS Families,
This week I share with you the philosophy of Charles Schulz. It's a wonderful perspective on life that makes sense young or old. Ponder the questions below the conclusion will bring it all together.
Have a great week Sea Kings!
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.
4 Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade’s worth of World Series winners.
How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.
These are no second-rate achievers.
They are the best in their fields.
But the applause dies..
Awards tarnish.
Achievements are forgotten.
Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
Facility Update:
Last weekend we held the first District Community Engagement Meetings focused on sharing the individual site facility issues and District-wide. At PVIS we have aging plumbing and electrical issues that must be addressed. The District has done a good job over the years of maintaining and fixing facility issues at this point, some items require an overhaul.

What's Going On In Class Today?
The month of March in Science 8 classes always kicks off with the student activity "Mammal Madness". Students represented by a mammal go head-to-head in a college "basketball-style tournament "crowning the victor based on predator skills, habitat, and physical attributes. The winner survives and advances until one is left. Students love the activity and learn from each other while competing!
Ms. Wang's Chinese 2 class enjoyed the beautiful weather on Friday and had class outside.
