Sea Kings Families,

45 Quotes That Celebrate Teamwork, Hard Work, and Collaboration

Thank you for a great first full week of school!!

In comparison to previous years, a record number of people showed up for our first PTSA meeting of the year! Student success is a result of the collaboration between our school, families, district, PTSA, and Boosters.

The more we collaborate, the more our students will benefit.

Our Sea King community is second to none, please continue to attend meetings and join the PTSA and Boosters.

Be Well,

Micah J. Farrell, Principal

Save the Date for PVIS Back to School Night

Please plan to attend Back to School Night at PVIS on Thursday, September 15, 2022. This will give you the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and become acquainted with the educational program they will be a part of this year. Each teacher will present an overview of the year’s work. With this in mind,  please do not plan to ask specific questions regarding your student. Teachers will be providing their telephone extension and/or e-mail addresses for this purpose. f

PBIS: A Focus on Student Citizenship

report

We have witnessed so many positive behaviors. Students are doing a great job at keeping their cell phones in their lockers. Without the phones to distract them, they truly seem to be enjoying each other's company.

Over the last several days, teachers reviewed BEST Lessons in all content classes. These lessons set the stage for behavior expectations. Please ask your child about what they have learned.

Additionally, Friday (9/2), students came to the MPR for grade-level assemblies that focused on the importance of good citizenship.

This year we are making a concerted effort as a staff to be intentional in the assignment of citizenship marks on student report cards. We want to help students become great humans in addition to scholars.
