The PVIS PTSA has approved helping to fund the purchase of 40 new, state-of-the-art HP Workstation Towers and HP LED Monitors for students to use in the coming future! The PVIS STEM program at PVIS is a robust program that works to enrich student learning with a multitude of STEM programming including, but not limited to, robotics, computer programming, flight simulation programming, CAD design learning, gaming creation and more. The PVIS STEM lab supports students of all grade levels who take STEM as their elective, is open at lunch to host STEM clubs and is also host to the PVIS ROV Club. The current equipment in the PVIS STEM lab is over 10 years old and has begun to reach the lifetime of the equipment as well as struggles to provide enough capacity for newer technologies used presently by teachers and students.
