Principal's Update December 13, 2020

Sea Kings Families,How to Relax and Recharge? Meditation, Rest, or Exercise?

I hope this message finds you well.  Most often my updates are directed towards families, students, and staff. This message is directly to our parents and guardians, in case you needed to hear it "you will be OK", "'we will be OK". YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB!!

For a moment if we can, let us let go of doubt and uncertainty. Many families want to see their children back at school as soon as possible, while others do not- both are right. Time will ultimately dictate what our next steps are; in the meantime look for the positives and know that you have a community here to support you. My "virtual" door is always open.

Our Winter recess is upon us beginning Monday 12/21/2020, and I encourage everyone to go out of your way to make time for yourself, read your favorite book, watch your favorite movie, eat your favorite snack, take a walk, or just sit in silence and breathe- you will feel better when you consciously make time for yourself. Everyone of us plays a critical role in supporting our students, this makes you vitally important- Rest and recharge, our team needs you!

Be Well and have a wonderful Winter recess!
