Safer at Home day number, not quite sure? Week after week we are not absent of information from the local, state, and federal level. Often it is hard to tell what is fact from fiction. And so, once again I see our role as educators of the utmost importance to our students, families, and community in providing stability and transparency. I have said since the start of our school closure that our educational program will continue to evolve and we will strive to get better week by week, and day by day. Most of development to this point as been predicated upon our planning, and trial and error :) As we look down an indefinite path for the foreseeable future we will continue to work hard, but now more than ever, we look to our parents for feedback about your student/family experiences thus far. We are looking for triumphs and trip ups', alike. We are in the process of developing a parent survey that will help guide our immediate practices and planning for the remainder of our school closure. The survey will likely include academics, social/emotional well being, and activities. Your input is truly crucial, as partners in your child's education we will continue to work together, always assuming the best intentions. Thank you in advance.

Class of 2020! Palos Verdes Intermediate School is looking at various options to celebrate your promotion and highlight your accomplishments. At this point 8th grade promotion is not canceled, but these options would allow for alternative plans in case large gatherings are not permitted on June 10th. We are still following CDC, State, and PVPUSD District guidelines so any plans are subject to change if deemed unsafe.
