We are at the halfway point of the school year, and have already
begun graduation planning festivities, and scheduling for returning students. Eighth graders will soon have the opportunity to visit both
of our high schools’ open house events; we have parent presentations for high school scheduled through our PTSA general meetings from both high school principals, as well as high school counselors, too. It is a very exciting time at PVIS! CLICK HERE for more C/O 2024 information.
Thank you to everyone that has supported our fundraising efforts!! Next Friday is going to be one for the record books! This event directly impacts our school's technology and student programs!! We appreciate your support, and hope all of you will join in on the fun!!
Please remember participating students will be "extra" colorful next Friday. The colored powder is corn starch, but we would recommend preparing for pick up to ensure your cars are not colorful too.

We are also looking forward to the Museum of Tolerance field trip for our 8th grade class next Tuesday, (1/14). We have received most parent permission verification forms through Permission Click; there are still approximately 50 students that have yet to reply. Unfortunately, some of our 8th grade students that have a zero period at Pen/PV are scheduled to take a final the day of our field trip and may not be able to attend.
*If you have not responded to the parent permission form (Permission Click) please do so as soon as possible even if the reply is ‘decline’ to attend. Deadline is 1/10/2020. Thank you.*

This way, we can get an accurate count of students attending, and pay for only the admissions we need, as well as the buses. This could be a potential saving of hundreds of dollars. Any student that does not reply (parent permission) and arrives the day of the field trip expecting to attend, will not be permitted to go, as admissions will have been pre-paid.
- Students are to arrive Tuesday (1/14) for the field trip by 7:15 AM and meet in the MPR. PE Independent study students will be on the first two buses/tours of the day, in order to get students back to PVIS by 2/2:30PM.
- Every student should bring a sack lunch for the day.
**Students that do not attend the field trip are expected to be at school and will be scheduled with teachers for the day.** Students are to report 1st period- 4th period to room 701 and periods 5 & 6 in room 809.**

The 7th grade overnight science trip is quickly approaching. As of today, we have 137 responses/confirmations of 230 students. The deadline for parent permission is January 31, 2020. Final numbers for buses and cabins at PALI are due the beginning of February.
Please help us keep our costs accurate by replying as soon as possible. *
