Parent University

Parent University is a new collaborative effort between the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District and the Peninsula Education Foundation. The goal of Parent University is to provide parents with access to important District and student information, educational resources, and technology training. In this first year of the program, the focus is on the intermediate school level. By increasing parent support at this level, we hope to empower parents to raise children who are successful in school and in life!

Included in Parent University is a speaker series covering topics on digital citizenship, adolescent brain development, and guidance on how to raise happy, high-performing students and athletes.

Technology Safety Presentation with Clayton Cranford, The Cyber Safety Cop
Author of Parenting in a Digital World, Sergeant Cranford, will explain current technology teens are using and will give tools and action plans to stay safe online.
