New nutrition reading assignment please finish by 4/27, after that I will be giving you an activity to turn in.  Go to MyPlate.gov, then my plate/choose my plate  next browse by audience , students,   teens.  Read 10 tips then take charge.  Read all of take charge and click on all blue links.  This will take you several hours to do, this will keep you busy for awhile.

Hi everyone! How you doing?  Hopefully by now you've watched the ted ed videos found on you tube and checked the website for national institute of mental health and chosen a topic. Normally, we would make a pamphlet on one particular mental illness however, times have changed.  You have an option/choice on how you want to report on it.   You can make a three folded pamphlet, write a report (3-5 pages double spaced.), make a poster, or  a power point slide presentation. Include signs/symptoms, causes,  diagnosis, all treatments, include two pictures, one graph. At this point I am trying to find a way for you to turn it in to me, I'll let you know ASAP.

As far as the other optional everfi assignment, it is just that, optional.  I will offer more of those if you like them.

Also, the next topic we will investigate is CPR instruction.  Normally we would learn on practice dummies, but obviously we can't but there is a great video presentation from the American Red Cross that we will engage in.
