I know you just took the Chapter 7 test and this. Week we are diving into a new Chapter, but we have one quick
lesson on Simplified Radical Form. AssignKent is due in Teams and you can find the voice PowerPoint here today as well as the regular power point and the PDF version for printing. I also attached the week’s agenda for you, as well as two charts (photos) that should help you when completing the assignment.
I do suggest that you view the voice PowePoint if possible it gives much more information. You will complete the assignment in your period on Teams. Any questions please visit a session of Mr. Colburt’s... as you know he allows you to visit any period... or you may contact me by email or on Teams Chat for help.

Math May 8th Chapter 7 Test
Today is the day... you are going to prove that you know all the goods for Chapter 7.... you hopefully have completed all the assignments for Chapter 7 and are all re2dy. If you haven’t done the pretest, do it first. You have from 8am till 8 pm to complete and submit this test today (TODAY ONLY). You can take as much time as you need, as long as you hit submit by 8pm today, Friday May 8th.
You will complete the test in Teams, your particular period, first open it, complete on paper with pencil then transfer answers back to Teams. If you have questions, are confused about the question itself, please reach out to me or Mr. Colburt. I will be available all day by email or through Teams chat. Mr. Colburt can also be reached through Teams Chat or email. Please don’t wait till 7pm to open the test and try to work out, at least open it earlier and make sure you understand it.

Math 8 Chapter 7 Review for Test due May 7th
Assignment for Wednesday and Thursday is the Chapter 7 pretest that you will find in your individual class Teams. There are 12 questions and you should solve each question issuing pencil and paper and then enter on Teams. This pretest will help you study for Friday’s test, so if you don’t understand a concept on here, please attend one of Mr.Colburt’s Live sessions on Teams and ask or contact Mr. Colburt or Ms. Smith for some help BEFORE the test.

Today you are completing the Chapter 5 Test and you only have from 8am till 8pm to complete it. The test can be found in Big Ideas Math through the student portal. You will answer the questions directly on there. Use the correct form when answering and check your answers before submitting. You may use your notes and a calculator to answer these questions. If you are unsure of what the question is asking, if you are confused or worried, please email me at [email protected] or Mr. Colburt at [email protected] also Mr. Colburt will be in Teams at 11am if you need any help. He won’t tell you answers to test problems but will help with concepts or again clarify questions for the test.
**Again make sure you complete and submit your test by 8pm as the test will be closed and you will be unable to submit the test after this.**

Please note: Use Table Method for problems 1, 5. Use Slope-Intercept method for problems 15, 16, 17.
This is due TODAY 3/20/20 and is a TEST! The assumption is that you are doing this ALONE and doing your best. Sit where you are in a good environment, TV off, no distractions, NOT IN BED! Have scratch paper available to use as needed. Work things out, make tables, show your work. You can use a calculator, be careful with small mathematical mistakes.
