Please follow directions on quiz corrections paper. This should be done at home with parents, older sibling, friend or a tutor. But work should be done BY YOU, not by them. The point is for you to understand what YOU DID WRONG and toy know how to DO IT NOW. Math is a subject that is like building blocks, and you need the foundation to keep building. If you cheat to get that foundation you are only hurting yourself. By just doing the homework/classwork and taking tests/quizzes you should pass the class. By doing the corrections you can bring your grade up... JUST THINK WHAT STUDYING CAN DO FOR YOUR GRADE!
Mrs. Guar and Ms. Smith are also opening their doors most lunches to help with math, so if you need help, just ask.We want you to get it, and get it right. If you need help with the homework, ask. Ms. Smith is also available after school Wednesday-Friday or by appointment for reteaching and homework help.
Parents, if you don't understand the test corrections, please email one of the teachers and we will gladly walk you through it as well. 8th grade math can be very frustrating and we do not want to cause family drama. We do want your students to try this at home and not in class, but please ask for help if you need it!

Test corrections due for any test under a 75. Please see file “Test Corrections” under this class for the instructions on how to do test corrections. This must be done out of class, must show work, DO NOT ERASE ANY WORK ON YOUR TEST, turn in with your original test! If you don’t have anyone to help you, a parent, tutor, older sibling, friend, etc then you will need to speak with Mrs. Gaur or Ms. Smith outside of class, AT LUNCH, BEFORE SCHOOL (after school is an option with Md. Smith only on Wednesday’s , Thursday’s and Friday’s) and they can then help you. To earn the credit you must be able to show the entire problem step by step, the point is to LEARN from your mistake and LEARN how to do the problem correctly do that you do not make the mistake in the future!
