Back to School Night

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Back to School Night.  Dance classes will meet in Portable 0 on the blacktop and PE classes will meet in the MPR.

Dance shoes

Please have either jazz or ballet shoes for daily class by September 18.  If you need assistance finding a store or getting shoes please speak to me in class.

PE Lockers Monday, August 28

Please bring your lock on Monday for PE locker assignment.  First day dressing for dance and PE will be on Tuesday, August 29.

Show Info May 23 @ 7 pm PVIS MPR

Please arrive at 6:15 
Show starts at 7 pm
 
All costumes for show need to meet PVIS dress code 
 
Party Rock (5th period): Black leggings, dance shoes (or black athletic shoes),
and purple top.  If you do not have a purple shirt, please wear a black or white shirt.
 
Rock Lobster (6th period):
Black leggings, dance shoes (or black athletic shoes),
and red top.  If you do not have a red shirt, please wear a black or white shirt.
 
Sweet Dreams (all 8th graders and 7 7th graders):  Pajama bottoms and coordinating t shirt or onesie, dance shoes, and stuffed animal.

Choreography assignment with vocabulary words and all due dates:

Thursday. April 13            contract due

 

Tuesday, April 18             8 counts of 8 completed

 

Wednesday, April 19        Vocab Quiz

 

Friday, April 21                Research due

 

Friday, April 28                1 minute due  

 

Friday, May 5                   dance check/1:30

 

Wednesday, May 16         Dance completed for a final grade and schedule.  Final music edit and costume

 

Tuesday, May 23              7pm performance @ PVIS   (6pm call time)
