June 1 - June 5- Burpee Challenge

Hey Everybody-
You have done a great job on our last two weeks' challenges. This week we have our last one, the burpee challenge. I have posted a video on edlio for you to watch on how to do a proper burpee, please watch it before you begin the challenge. This week your challenge is to do 75 burpees TOTAL for the week, and ask a parent to do it with you!, I will again give you extra credit for doing so.
This is also the last week of our track unit. This week we are learning how to long jump and triple jump. Pay close attention when watching the triple jump video, the technique is tricky. You must take off and land on the same foot on the first of the three jumps, called the hop step. Practice this and do some jumps outside, I would suggest on the grass. Also, practice the long jump as well, there is a video on this event also. Watch the videos first then practice the jumps, and don't forget to note in your fitness logs that you watched the videos.
You will also need to do 20 minutes of cardio this week as well, your choice. As always, include this in your fitness log.
